The shadow
Promising the horizon without tending the ground beneath you.
The ruling planet
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of jnana · growth, meaning, grace. The condition of the ruling planet in a real chart is just as important as the sign itself. A sign is a climate; a planet is a traveller moving through it.
Nakshatras in Sagittarius
The 27 nakshatras do not line up neatly with the 12 signs. Each sign contains two or three nakshatra segments, which is why two people with the same Moon sign can feel quite different.
